2024 International VFX and GD Conference Bratislava

The International Visual Storytelling Conference (IVGC) is an annual event held by VŠMU Bratislava's Film and Television Faculty every April, spanning two days. It takes place either remotely (online) via MS Teams video conferencing or in-person at the lecture theatre at VŠMU.

The first day of the event showcases presentations from exceptional students, typically in their 4th year, from various universities, each delivering a 20-minute talk. The second day features insightful 20-minute presentations from accomplished professionals and educators representing their respective institutions.

The IVGC 2024 is scheduled for April 18-19.

The conference is primarily intended for students in VFX and GD programs at European schools but also welcomes domestic and international participants, both amateur and professional. The event aims to introduce attendees, foster future collaborations, and inform participants and interested parties about the current state of VFX and GD in Europe. As a supplement, the "Proceedings of the IVGC 2024" will be published electronically, capturing the presentations from both conference days in written and visual form. The Proceedings will also include contributions not presented during the presentations, offering valuable insights into the global professional and pedagogical landscape of VFX and GD.
