Hello! My name is Adelicia Boakye Yiadom and I am currently in my second year of studying Television in IADT. These past few months I have been taking part in the FilmEU challenge based on Fake News, Fake World, Fake Identity. So far, I have found it be an interesting project in terms of how different cultures can interact and work together to achieve a common goal despite the cultural barriers and so, continuing that work through the AV Team is something I'm really excited about this year!

Hello, I'm Filipa Valente, born in 2003, and a cinema enthusiast. Currently, I am a cinema student with a deep interest in audiovisual production and photography, constantly seeking ways to express my creativity through the lens of the camera.
Beyond the realm of cinema, I am a gymnast at heart. Since the age of 2, I immersed myself in this challenging and rewarding universe. In 2014, I took a step further by becoming a competitive athlete. Gymnastics is not just a sport for me; it's a journey that teaches me perseverance, discipline, and joy in overcoming challenges.
With a curious mind and keen eyes, I am always exploring new ways to visually tell stories, whether through the screens of cinema or the graceful performances on the gymnastics mat. I look forward to continuing to grow both as a cinema student and an athlete, always in search of new ways to inspire and evoke emotions through my passions.
I’m a member of the FILMEU Audiovisual team, I work has a photographer and editor in the team.
My name is Gabija Rupšytė and I am a full-time Film Editing student at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre. Right now I am in an Erasmus programme at VIA University in Denmark studying Film and Transmedia Storytelling using Generative AI.
I have been watching video content since I was very small and my world has since then always revolved around audiovisual material – from making homemade music videos with my childhood friends to editing random content from the internet for my own interest – this brought me to experiment with it and be extremely interested in the world of film and technology. I also like working on set as a Script Supervisor or Digital Image Technician and would love to expand my skills and knowledge in the film field even more.
My hobbies are dancing, singing, bouldering and watching a ton of films, of course! I would consider myself a person who is always excited to learn and try something new – especially learning about new cultures and the world in general. This is part of the reason I want to join the FilmEU team – I think it’s an awesome opportunity to be a part of a big international team of filmmakers!
My name is Inês Vaz, I am a university student of Cinema and Media Arts at Lusófona University, when I was little, under the influence of my grandfather, I developed an interest in photography which later evolved into an interest in videos and films, at the moment I am working to be a photography director and/or an editor at a professional level.
Hi, I am Jasmim (Jazz) Lobos. I study television at IADT and I am in my second year. I am originally from Portugal but moved to Ireland for University; I have been living here for a little over 16 months. My interest in filmmaking started at a young age, so pursuing it felt like an obvious choice. I am particularly drawn to non-fictional projects and enjoy doing pre-production. I grew up in a trilingual household, speaking English, French and Portuguese, exposing me to minor aspects of different cultures. I now find myself fascinated by how culture shapes films and how drastically art is affected by our perspective of the world. I am very excited to be part of a team that celebrates film collaboration between different countries.
Hey there, I am Orla Engstfeld and am in third year of TV in IADT. I mostly work in the TV Studio and the documentary world but do some AD work on filmsets too. This is my second year working on the AV Team for FilmEU after being involved in the 2022 Summit in Dublin as well as part of the 2nd Pilot about climate change. The FilmEU work is especially important to me, as I grew up in Germany and moved to Dublin for college. I have firsthand experiences of cultural differences in approaching projects and think FilmEU is a fantastic opportunity for collaboration and learning how these differences complement each other. I have gotten to know so many people from different countries and am very excited to see what the AV team will produce this year, especially now that we are joined by 4 new institutions!
Saugintas Skilinskas is a 2nd year film editing student at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre. I love everything technical on set and everything post-production, and of course, I love films. Growing up, I’ve always been fascinated by computers and montage, from when I was little, I’ve always tried, one way or another do as much as I could via editing or other forms of audiovisual means, whether it was a school assignment or a cure to boredom. This curiosity of mine, is what inadvertently led me to where I am now.
Born in UAE in 1998, that’s when my story starts. My name is Tamara Abdul Khalek. A Syrian illustrator and animator who graduated from LUCA School of Arts with distinction and currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Animation film.
I’m 25 years old and I’ve been living in Belgium since I was 19. Prior to that I was studying interior design in Istanbul Turkey. Here I found my dream study and of course I am more than proud to have pursued it and graduated from it. I’ve always been into art, animated films and games and therefore becoming an animator has completed half of my dream of getting closer to creating the things that I like. And to eventually make animated films/series that represent and resemble me. My works as an artist differ in style and explore various ideologies ranging from realism, semi-realism to cartoons and many others. They come in different forms and mediums. I’m always going to be an artist in the making as I enjoy discovering new art mediums and I enjoy what I do despite any inconsistencies in my styles and interests. I believe that as an artist I should have the liberty to explore a wide array of topics and concepts, and my stance is that I will never surrender to being defined by one form of art.
