The Editorial Board of the International Journal of Film and Media Arts is delighted to announce the release of the second issue for 2023. The IJFMA Vol. 8 No. 2 explores the ever-expanding interest in the relationship between precarity as both a socio-political and philosophical concept and its intersection with media culture.
This issue presents a diverse range of publications and research endeavors that delve into the ways contemporary cinema and television depict dynamics of exploitation, extraction, and marginalization. Some of these analyses focus on issues of representation, with a keen eye on the distinct characteristics of cultural productions at national and continental levels, as well as artistic and thematic considerations.
The International Journal of Film and Media Arts is an open-access journal and is indexed in the Scopus database.
