Lusófona University leads again nominations for Sophia Student Awards

Lusófona University has 10 nominations to the Sophia Student Awards 2024. The event takes place from 22nd to 25th February in Albufeira, Portugal.

The nominees are:

• A mother goes to the beach - Best Master and PhD Short Film;
• Cherry, Passion Fruit - Best Master and PhD Short Film;
• O Sorteio - Best Short Film
• O Incidente da Galinha - Best Short Film;
• A Minha Gaivota Espanhola - Best Animation Short;
• Dead End - Best Animation Short;
• Évora - Best Short Documentary;
• A Minha Gaivota Espanhola - Best Poster;
• Dead End - Best Poster;
• A mother goes to the beach - Best Poster.

Every year, the Sophia Student Awards gives the opportunity to meet young talents and an open space for national and international dissemination of Portuguese audiovisual content. Academia Portuguesa das Artes encourages new sciences and distinguishes the best productions with film awards.
