The new issue of Baltic Screen Media Review titled “Cinematic Minds in the Making: An Investigation into Subjective and Intersubjective Experiences of Storytelling” is out.
The issue is guest edited by Pia Tikka, Maarten Coëgnarts and Elen Lotman, and gathers together interdisciplinary efforts to understand the embodied cognitive processes of professional storytellers. The fundamental question addressed in it is what constitutes the shared ground of cinematic storytelling. How can the filmmaker make references to such an abstract and hidden code?
The special issue is available here, in open access.
