WIRE kick off at Lusófona University

Last week, Lusófona University hosted the kickoff event for the WIRE initiative. WIRE, standing for "Widening the Innovation and Research Excellence," aims to spark a significant advancement in the quality and innovativeness of scientific research and value creation within the FilmEU European University. This initiative is achieved through capacity building efforts and the advocacy for various reforms across Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in countries associated with the Alliance.

Representatives from the eight HEIs convened at Lusófona's campus for a two-day intensive session dedicated to advancing the objectives of the WIRE project. Throughout the event, team leaders presented comprehensive plans encompassing all work packages of the initiative, outlining strategies for implementation and collaboration among the participating institutions.
