Peripheral Perspectives showcases 12 audiovisual artistic research works by postgraduate researchers from institutions across Europe. For the FilmEU summit in Genk, the exhibition’s goal is to present artistic research beyond the university walls, sharing it with the community at large. The works convey a variety of cutting-edge approaches to artistic research in film, documentary, animation and media arts. The exhibition offers the visitor a challenging journey tracing stories from lost alligators to lost families, hidden archives, fleeting memories, the realms of dreams and sleep, and peripheral worlds covered in snow.
After the exhibition ends, the works will be made available on the FilmEU website.
