Anja Van Peteghem studied audiovisual arts at LUCA School of Arts. She is a TV editor with a passion for journalism and films.
Professionally, she has been working for Belgian news channels for more than 25 years. In post-production she works on documentaries and daily news broadcasts.
After obtaining her pedagogical qualifications diploma, she returned to her old Luca campus. In addition to her TV job, she also takes post-production lessons there.
With experience from the private sector, she wants to train her students to become passionate filmmakers. Guiding young adults and seeing them grow in their education motivates Anja to continue with this for a long time.
She tries to bring those same students together in an international environment through FilmEu+. This work is enriching for our people of the future. It is also an inspiring and educational environment for her and her colleagues, where new friendships can be formed.
