Chris Nikkel is an Assistant Lecturer at IADT, teaching documentary and non-fiction television and radio on the BA in TV and Film Production. He holds a MFA in Creative Writing from the University of British Columbia, as well as an honours BA from the University of Winnipeg. Chris grew up in Winnipeg, Canada, but has lived in Ireland for the last twenty years during which time he has worked as a TV producer, director and writer, making history and science documentaries for local and international broadcasters including the BBC, RTÉ, the Smithsonian and Discovery Channels.
