My name is Gabija and I am a full-time Film Editing student at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre. Right now I am in an Erasmus programme at VIA University in Denmark studying Film and Transmedia Storytelling using Generative AI.
I have been watching video content since I was very small and my world has since then always revolved around audiovisual material – from making homemade music videos with my childhood friends to editing random content from the internet for my own interest – this brought me to experiment with it and be extremely interested in the world of film and technology. I also like working on set as a Script Supervisor or Digital Image Technician and would love to expand my skills and knowledge in the film field even more.
My hobbies are dancing, singing, bouldering and watching a ton of films, of course! I would consider myself a person who is always excited to learn and try something new – especially learning about new cultures and the world in general. This is part of the reason I want to join the FilmEU team – I think it’s an awesome opportunity to be a part of a big international team of filmmakers!
