Geert is the Vice Dean for Education at LUCA School of Arts and former Head of Audiovisual Arts at LUCA campus C-mine.
Trained as an audio visual maker, she previously ran her own agency Sien, the Art of Exposure as Head of Design with expertise in the disclosure of art and heritage. That made her a generalist who learned to realize cross-disciplinary powerful projects.
She aims to give young people a good start to their lives and believes that studying (audio visual) arts and media is an excellent tool to that, challenging one across a very broad spectrum of competences and skills. FilmEU fits perfectly in that goal and adds an indispensable intercultural dimension.
