His artwork was presented at the Museo Guggenheim Bilbao, 55th and 56th Venice Biennale, 798 Art District (Beijing), ARoS Aarhus Kunstmuseum, Galerie Scheffel (Frankfurt), Logos Foundation (Ghent), Museo de Arte Contemporáneo (Santiago do Chile), Théâtre de la Ville (Paris), Arnold Schoenberg Hall (The Hague), Yorkshire Sculpture Park (UK), Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian (Lisbon), among other venues.
He holds a PhD in Science and Technology of the Arts by Universidade Católica Portuguesa, and a Post-doctorate (CEEC) by Universidade Nova de Lisboa. He currently teaches at Universidade Lusófona de Humanidades e Tecnologias and is the Co-PI of the FCT Project TEPe- Technologically Expanded Performance (PTDC/ART-PER/31263/2017).
