Has a master’s degree in Film Studies (2015) and a PhD in Communication Sciences by Lusófona University (2020). As a director, its 15 films are among all genres, short fictions, animation, documentaries and feature fiction films. His films have had national and international premieres at several film festivals around the world. Since 2000, Julio has expanded his portfolio in directing advertising films for large Portuguese and Spanish brands.
