Marek Šulík is a Slovak film editor, cameraman, director, and lecturer. He focuses primarily on the creating of documentary films. As an editor, he worked on films awarded at many world festivals (66 Seasons, Cooking History, FREM, White on White, October 5, etc.). In his directing work, he concentrates on the creation of portraits, musical films, and films with a social theme. In addition, he founded the Amateur Film Archive (www.rodinnearchivy.sk), which is dedicated to collecting, preserving, and making available amateur film recordings that were created in the past decades, primarily in Slovakia.
