Wim Aerts is working in the international relations office (IRO) since 2003. He was in charge of the IRO unit at campus Sint-Lukas Brussel since 2003 until 2017 and is currently one of LUCA’s senior experts on policy matters with regards to International Mobility, International Programmes, Funding Opportunities for External Projects and Admissions.
He wrote or contributed to several successful project proposals in the field of Erasmus+, Leonardo, Erasmus Mundus and Creative Europe since 2005. In his role as expert he also coordinates centrally–led processes on internationalization at LUCA, as well as providing active support for the international officers at the different LUCA campuses and advising policy makers of LUCA School of Arts on these fields.
He has also joined the project development team of the Erasmus Mundus Master Doc Nomads from the early start of its implementation, for which he served as liaison officer between the campus administration of Sint-Lukas Brussel, the management of LUCA School of Arts and the other Doc Nomads partners.
