FilmEU Cineclub 13th March (IADT)

IADT will be screening Pilgrimage (2017) directed by Brendan Muldowney and starring Tom Holland (Spiderman).

A novice monk must escort a sacred relic from Ireland to Rome at the Pope’s request. However, he and his brotherhood face a perilous, violent journey fraught with danger and find themselves questioning their faith in the Church and religious beliefs.

The screening (96’ minutes) will be followed by a Q&A session with the Director, who is a graduate of IADT’s National Film School. Here you will have an opportunity to speak with a successful Director and ask him about his vivid recreation of Ireland in 1209 AD.
