Meet Jorge Manuel Paixão da Costa!
Born in Lisbon on October 13, 1954, Jorge Manuel Paixão da Costa is a renowned Portuguese television and film director, as well as a university professor. He currently teaches at Lusófona University in Lisbon, Portugal.
Jorge has directed over ten television productions, including telefilms like "29 Golpes" (2005), "A Escada" (2005), and "O Mergulho" (2005). His notable TV series include "A Ferreirinha" (2004), "Lusitana Paixão" (2002), "Sociedade Anónima" (2001), "A Raia dos Medos" (2000), "Não és Homem Não És Nada" (1999), "Polícias" (1996), and "Os Melhores Anos" (1990). He also directed several popular soap operas such as "Lusitana Paixão" (2002), "Roseira Brava" (1996), "Desencontros" (1995), and "Na Paz dos Anjos" (1994).
His latest film, "Cândido" (2024), is yet another testament to his talent and dedication to the craft.
