Director Bernardo Lopes is the big winner of the LSF Prize!
The fiction project “Amanhã Já Não Chove” by Bernardo Lopes won the competition to support the writing, development and production of a feature film awarded by Universidade Lusófona as a way to mark the 20th anniversary of the degree in Film. The film will be produced by Omaja, in association with Lusófona Filmes and co-production with Brazilian production company Capuri.
Bernardo Lopes produced 2 documentary feature films and 4 fiction short films that won some awards and were selected for national and international festivals, including the Sophia Award and the Nico Award from the Portuguese Academy of Cinema (2021) and, in 2022, his film “Moço” was distinguished by the Césars of the French Film Academy at Les Nuits en Or, as one of the thirty best films of the year.
