DocNomads films in Festivals

The 6th BEAST - International Film Festival, with focus in films from the Central and Eastern Europe, presents a special program with the showcase DOCNOMADS – Short Stories, and three more films from graduated students selected to the Official Competition / East Doc section, Budapest Silo, A Hand And A Half, The Silence of the Banana Trees.

The documentary short Proof of Life by Dorian Rivière had its World Première in the International Documentary Film Festival of Buenos Aires held between 2 and 8 October in Argentina. Read more here.

Encounters on an Uncertain Spring, the graduation documentary of Taymour Boulos, a student from Lebanon, will have its World Premiere in the New Asian Currents competition section of Yamagata International Documentary Film Festival held in Japan between 5 and 12 October. Read more here.

Juliette Menthonnex´s graduation film Tale of the Three Flames will have its world premiere in the International Documentary Competition, and Daryna Mamaisur’s graduation film Smoke of the Fire will be screened in the Panorama: Central and Eastern Europe section at the 66th edition of the International Leipzig Festival for Documentary and Animated Film held from 8 to 15 October.
