FilmEU and 20+ Alliances are “En Route” to Toulouse’s EAIE 2024 Conference
Toulouse, France – 17th-20th September 2024 – The 34th Annual EAIE Conference and Exhibition, with the theme “En Route”, will feature more than 20 alliances representing over 200 higher education institutions for the first time.
FilmEU European University is actively collaborating with more than 20 other European university alliances to prepare for the upcoming EAIE Conference in Toulouse. This global event provides a unique opportunity for international higher education professionals to connect and work towards a more interconnected and innovative global educational landscape.
At the EAIE conference, FilmEU will share the B22 booth with Charm-EU and 4EU+, alongside other European University Alliances and the European Commission booth. One of the most remarkable aspects of 2024 is the strong presence of European alliances. After a modest appearance in Barcelona in 2022 and a more dispersed representation in Rotterdam in 2023, the alliances have come together with remarkable coordination this year, in close collaboration with the European Commission, achieving unprecedented visibility.
A significant side event will mark the start of the EAIE conference on September 17th, from 8:45 am to 3:00 pm. Titled “Internationalisation of European Universities Alliances: The New Frontiers,” this event, hosted by the University of Toulouse and the Région Occitanie, will feature three sessions focused on how and why European Universities Alliances are building strategic partnerships beyond the European Union.
The active participation of FilmEU’s representatives and speakers emphasizes the alliance's commitment to reshaping the academic landscape. By fostering transnational collaboration, FilmEU and the other alliances present in Toulouse are paving the way for an interconnected and forward-thinking model of European higher education.
