Professor Manuel José Damásio participates in a conference on the valorisation of higher education teaching careers.

Professor Manuel José Damásio, Executive Administrator of Lusófona University and coordinator of FilmEU European University, participated in the conference organised by the Education and Science Committee on 21 January 2025, at the Portuguese Parliament.

The conference focused on the valorisation of teaching careers in higher education, aiming to foster a reflection on this vital topic. The event brought together key stakeholders from the sector, including representatives from higher education institutions (public and private) and teachers' unions, to promote an open and constructive dialogue about the challenges and opportunities in academic careers in Portugal.
