23rd June marks the first FilmEU congress. Due to the current world situation, it was held online where over the day 295 people joined us on Zoom and Youtube.
Integrated in CIIA 2021 – 8th International Congress of audiovisual researchers, which took place in Lisbon between the 24th and 25th of June 2021, the pre-congress “Future Visions” aim was to promote a debate and reflection on some of the project’s intervention areas, namely artistic research and pedagogical practices in cinema and audiovisual teaching.
The speakers were from every school of the Alliance and it was a full day of sharing knowledge between different areas of the audiovisual.
In September we have another important mark, the first FilmEU Summit live in Lisbon and online. From 21st to 24th September the FilmEU Alliance will gather in Lisbon for activities related to the project, some of them will be available to the public. We’ll have updates on this soon.
