FilmEU represented at CILECT

This year, and finally live, the CILECT congress focused its talks on Teaching Audiovisual Media Challenges & Chances.

FilmEU was very well represented by Barry Dignam and Marc Van De Walle, who took the opportunity to share some of our own experiences, challenges, and chances of setting up a European Alliance of Film Schools.

Filipe Vale and Júlio Alves presented “Reversed Blow-up - Using "Stories" as a Pedagogical Strategy in Film Education”, where they shared their experience in applying the Samsara Method, a common pedagogical method that FilmEU is implementing across the institutions, and how the results are being impressive. CILECT Congress is one of the best stages to get to know how Film Schools across the world are evolving and responding to the many challenges the world is living.
