Lusófona University is the big winner of the Sophia Estudante 2022

Universidade Lusófona was the big winner of Sophia Estudante 2022, having obtained first prize in four of the seven categories in the competition:

• Best Documentary "Borderline" by Leonor Rocha.
• Best Animation "Kumaru" by Patrícia Santos, Bruno Maravilha and Tânia Teixeira.
• Best Masters/PhD "In the Middle of Nothing" by Sam Marques.
• Best Fiction "Punkada" by Gonçalo Ferreira.

Every year, the Sophia Student Awards gives the opportunity to meet young talents and an open space for national and international dissemination of Portuguese audiovisual content. Academia Portuguesa das Artes encourages new sciences and distinguishes the best productions with film awards.
