The Royal Irish Academy, IADT and FilmEU co-organize important conference

'The future of media: experience, models, practice' is an important conference where the future of public service media in Ireland will be discussed. This event is organised by the Royal Irish Academy in association with IADT - Institute of Art, Design + Technology Dún Laoghaire and FilmEU.

Three panel sessions will discuss and debate themes on the three goals identified in the terms of reference for the Future of Media Commission; to identify the current Irish experience, to consider the extent to which the current models of delivery are the appropriate ones for the next ten years, and to review best practice in other comparable jurisdictions.
